HistoryRoofkat so far
Ramon Huiskamp founded Roofkat the 1st of July 2018 after graduating from his game design course at the NHTV in Breda (the Netherlands). He immediately begun working on Roofkat's first title: WarpThrough, a fast-paced action game where you can't attack until you stop moving. Ramon worked on WarpThrough on his own, with the intention to gain more knowledge in the areas of development he had not worked on yet. While working on WarpThrough, Ramon is also working as an independent level design contractor for Sumo-Digital, helping them develop a yet-unannounced project. Within three months of development, WarpThrough was shown off at network lunches at the Dutch Game Garden, in the indie area for Devcom (https://www.devcom.global/), and at the Indie Arena Booth site at MAG (https://mag-con.de/). The response to the gameplay has been very positive, with many players coming back numerous times to play again and get further. Ramon is currently improving the visuals and creating a story for players to progress through, shaping WarpThrough into a full experience. After WarpThrough Roofkat is aiming to grow and make other original and interesting experiences.
